Paula Deen has never done us wrong. From blueberry biscuits to bacon and brown sugar wrapped chicken. That is what we had tonight. It was a really easy recipe, I adapted it from an appetizer recipe of hers. I wrapped chicken breasts with strips of bacon and coated them in a brown sugar and chili powder mix. Next time I am going to add just a touch more chili powder, salt, pepper and make sure to use thinner bacon. I usually buy the thick stuff so it didn't crisp up like I would've liked but it was still darn tastey. I served it with some steamed carrots which was a nice accompaniment. I would've taken pictures but we were too hungry to wait, sorry!
